Western Roofing completed a 30,000-square-foot reroof at the San Francisco Health Care System (SFVA Building 200) in May of 2022. The project involved removal of the existing roofing systems, followed by installation of a hot rubberized asphalt system (American Hydrotech 6125FR), extruded EPS insulation, and ballast pavers on a low-slope roof. Perimeter coping was also replaced with stainless steel to enhance durability and performance. The project required maintaining uninterrupted operations. Access, safety, and site logistics were closely managed to protect patients, staff, and surrounding campus activity while delivering a high-performing, long-term roofing solution.
