Western Roofing Service completed an emergency reroof at Presidio Trust in San Francisco, California, replacing approximately 300 square feet of roofing on a residential structure between March 7 and March 11, 2024. After high winds removed the existing copper shingle roof, the team recommended a low-profile copper standing seam metal roof (SSMR) system for improved performance.
The scope included removal of the damaged roof, installation of new plywood over the existing plank sheathing, application of a GCP Ultra underlayment, and installation of 20 oz. hard copper standing seam panels on a 1:12 slope. The project was completed quickly to restore protection and deliver a more durable, long-term roofing solution.
