Western Roofing
Western Roofing Service has partnered with Stanford University for more than 15 years, providing ongoing roofing and waterproofing services across the campus. For the past seven years, WRS has managed an official Roof Maintenance Program covering approximately 200 buildings within Stanford University’s Academic Division. The partnership has included maintenance, repairs, roof restorations, waterproofing of concrete decks, and larger capital roofing projects for both the Academic Division and Stanford School of Medicine.
The diverse portfolio of roof systems maintained by WRS includes tile, shingles, BUR, PVC, TPO, gutters, and downspouts across a wide range of roof slopes and building types. Due to the steep and often slippery conditions, safety remains a critical component of every project. All work is carefully coordinated with Stanford Facilities to minimize disruption to campus operations, academic schedules, and pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Annual use of boom lifts, ground activity monitoring, and detailed logistical planning allows WRS to safely and efficiently perform work while supporting the daily operations of one of the nation’s leading universities.
