Tecta America West Florida completed a re-roof at Lakewood Ranch High School, covering 254,00 Sq. Ft. between March and July 2024, the project involved removing the existing system down to the insulating concrete and preparing the surface. The new system included a mechanically attached 36-mil Fibertite KEE single-ply membrane, with new stainless steel coping slip metal, flashings, and detailing at parapets, curbs, drains, and penetrations to meet requirements.
To minimize disruption to daily school operations, much of the work was completed during nights and weekends. The project highlights the team’s ability to coordinate complex, multi-building reroofing efforts while maintaining safety, performance, and schedule.
