Tecta America is pleased to announce the promotion of Alessandro Vitello to operating unit president of Metalcrafts, a Tecta America company, effective Jan. 1, 2026.

This transition follows Joseph Lancaster’s move to operations manager at Tecta America Southeast – Atlanta, where he will support operations and project execution across the Atlanta market.

Alessandro brings nearly two decades of commercial roofing experience, having begun his career in South Florida, where he advanced through roles including project manager, estimator and service management. He joined Metalcrafts in 2016 and has since developed and refined project management, operations processes and change-order controls, while supporting production efficiency and overall business performance. Over the past several years, Alessandro has served as vice president, playing a key role in daily operations and staff development.

“I am very excited to work with Alessandro in this new OUP role,” said Todd Stugelmayer, Tecta America Chief Operating Officer. “His strong work ethic and coaching experience will help him build a solid team and drive the business forward.”

Outside of work, Alessandro enjoys spending time with his family and running a local youth wrestling club, where he coaches and mentors young athletes.

Tecta America is pleased to announce that Joseph Lancaster is transitioning from his role as operating unit president of Metalcrafts to vice president of operations at Tecta America Atlanta. As part of this transition, Alessandro Vitello has been promoted to president of Metalcrafts.

Following Metalcrafts’ acquisition by Tecta America in 2015, Joseph Lancaster served as operations manager before being promoted to operating unit president in 2020. During his tenure as OUP, his focus was on continuing and strengthening the company’s long-standing reputation for quality, professionalism, and safety. In his new role as vice president of operations at Tecta America Atlanta, Joseph will apply that same technical, production-driven mindset while partnering closely with the Atlanta leadership team to support continued growth and operational success.

Joseph has more than four decades of experience in the roofing industry, spanning field operations, production leadership, and management. His career progression began in the field, working across BUR, single-ply, and metal roofing crews, and advanced through roles including foreman, superintendent, estimator, and production leadership. His experience is rooted in production-focused leadership and a hands-on approach to complex roofing projects.

“I transferred from Metalcrafts to Atlanta a little over 10 years ago and have been asked countless times if I miss Savannah,” said Wade Lancaster, operating unit president of Tecta America Atlanta. “My answer has always been the same. I miss being close to family, the beach and working with my dad. When we started discussing him wanting to step back from the OUP role, I saw an opportunity for both of us. This move will allow him to take a role that he genuinely loves and thrives in. Meanwhile, our office is gaining decades of experience and knowledge that will help with our continued success.”

Outside of work, Joseph enjoys fishing, boating, and spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren compete in sports.

Tecta America is pleased to announce the promotion of Andy Clarke to operating unit president of Tecta America Arizona.

Andy brings more than four decades of roofing industry experience, having started his career part-time while still in high school in Arizona. He spent his first 15 years in the field, advancing quickly into leadership roles and running crews by the age of 20.

Andy brings extensive leadership experience, including many years overseeing operations and teams in senior management roles within the commercial roofing industry. He rejoined Chuck Chapman in 2020 at Tecta America Arizona, where he has spent the past four years helping build the team and prepare for this leadership transition.

During his tenure at Tecta America Arizona, Andy has focused on growing the new construction side of the business and recruiting strong talent. Under his leadership, the operation has grown more than 200% in volume and staff, supported by his broad experience across field operations, estimating, project management, and general management, and a continued emphasis on process improvement and execution.

“I’m incredibly excited to announce the promotion of Andy Clarke to operating unit president of Tecta America Arizona,” said Chuck Chapman, former Tecta America Arizona Operating Unit President.

“Andy has been an invaluable part of the Tecta family for the past four years and brings more than 40 years of experience in the roofing industry. His leadership, depth of knowledge, and growth-minded vision for Arizona position our team for an exciting next chapter. I have no doubt we will continue to evolve and thrive under his guidance.

“As I step down from the operating unit president role, I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting Andy and our exceptional team in my new capacity as senior project manager. I look forward to working alongside him and contributing to the continued success of Tecta America Arizona.”

As part of this transition, Chuck Chapman has moved into a senior project manager role and will remain with the organization, continuing to support growth and project execution.

Outside of work, Andy has been with his wife, Joni, for 25 years, and together they have seven children and 19 grandchildren. He also serves as head coach of a girls varsity soccer team at his alma mater high school and enjoys spending time with family, riding with friends and working on ongoing home projects.

Tecta America has announced the promotion of Wade Lancaster to operating unit president of Tecta America – Atlanta, effective June 1, 2025.

This transition follows the retirement of Chris Pinkston, a founding member of Tecta America, who has led the Atlanta operation with integrity and vision for more than two decades as operating unit president.

Wade has nearly 24 years of roofing industry experience, including 11 years at Metalcrafts in Savannah before transferring to the Atlanta location in 2015. He began his career in the field as a summer laborer while attending college, steadily advancing into roles including foreman, superintendent, estimator, and project manager. Over the past decade, he has overseen production and played a critical role in project execution and operational efficiency.

“In addition to his operational leadership, Wade has been closely involved with the financial side of the business and brings a clear understanding of what it takes to meet our company goals,” said Chris Pinkston, retiring operating unit president of Tecta – Atlanta. “His operations knowledge, leadership presence, and his commitment to the team make him well-suited to lead the Atlanta office into its next chapter.  Please welcome Wade as the new OUP for the Atlanta office.”

Dave Reginelli, Tecta’s CEO added “Through Wade’s grit and determination, he demonstrated he has what it takes to follow in the footsteps of a true legend at Tecta.  It’s particularly noteworthy that Wade is the son of Joseph Lancaster who leads our Metalcrafts operating unit in nearby Savannah, making Wade’s appointment the first time we have a father and son leading two of our premier operating units.  Congratulations to them both!”

Tecta America has announced that Chris Pinkston, a founding member of Tecta America and operating unit president of Tecta America – Atlanta, will retire on May 31 after a 50-year career in the roofing industry.

Chris began his career in 1973 in Amarillo, Texas, working for his family’s roofing business. In 1981, he helped launch the Houston office, and six years later, he opened the Atlanta location. In 2000, Chris became one of the founding members of Tecta America. His vision, experience, and entrepreneurial mindset helped shape what Tecta is today: an industry leader built on integrity, partnership, and operational excellence.

“Chris Pinkston is a smart, inspirational and extremely successful leader who has always led by example and with integrity,” shared Mark Santacrose, Tecta America’s Executive Chairman. “He leaves an incredible legacy of hard work, determination, and financial success – but always coupled with a strong focus on his people and their best interests. Chris has made a major impact on Tecta – as a founder and high performer for many years. Above all, Chris is a gentleman, and I am better off for working with him and calling him my friend.”

Dave Reginelli, Tecta’s CEO added “The name Chris Pinkston is synonymous with honesty, competency, and the highest work ethic.  Anyone who has had the pleasure of working with him will tell you there is no better, and in so many ways, he has set the standard for performance and leadership throughout Tecta.  While he will be missed as an active member of our team, he will surely live on forever as a legend in our company.”

As he steps into retirement, Chris looks forward to spending more time with his three children, six grandchildren, and five siblings. His days ahead will include skiing, fishing, and golfing. From gardening and landscaping to woodworking, reading, and exercising, Chris is ready to fully embrace this next chapter. He also plans to build the dream home he and his wife have envisioned for the past decade. Perhaps most ambitiously, he hopes to sharpen his juggling and unicycling skills in pursuit of a backup plan: joining the circus.

“Tecta-Atlanta has a phenomenal team that I am so proud of,” shared Chris Pinkston. “Our success has always been, and will continue to be, because of this great group of like-minded individuals.  Everyone is supportive of one another, and they each have great attitudes and good work ethics.  Integrity and professionalism are always present, and they like to have fun when the occasion allows.”

Effective June 1, Wade Lancaster will assume the role of Operating Unit President of Tecta America – Atlanta.

Tecta America is pleased to announce the promotion of Joe Bergstrom to Vice President of Human Resources at Tecta America Corp., effective June 2, 2025.

Joe joined Tecta two years ago, bringing with him more than a decade of human resources experience in the construction and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Tecta, he served as Director of Human Resources for a private equity-backed firm, where he led HR strategy, external government and legal interactions, and safety initiatives across the organization.

Since joining Tecta, Joe has played a key role in shaping and leading corporate HR efforts, including benefits administration, recruiting, compliance, and succession planning. From the beginning, Joe’s role was designed to evolve into a broader leadership position as part of a planned succession. Over time, he assumed oversight of medical and ancillary benefits, the 401(k) plan, and led strategic initiatives to strengthen HR support across our operating units.

“I know the Joe Bergstrom is going to do an amazing job heading up the HR function at Tecta,” said Bonnie, outgoing VP of Human Resources. “I spent over a year trying to find the right candidate and Joe has surpassed my expectations for what we need in that role. His intelligence, friendliness, and most importantly, his ability to understand the culture of Tecta will ensure he does an exceptional job.”

As Vice President of Human Resources, Joe will continue to serve as a key resource for leadership and operating units across the country. Whether navigating complex employee relations issues, advising on compensation and recruitment strategies, or supporting growth initiatives, Joe brings a balanced, thoughtful approach to decision-making that aligns people strategies with operational goals.

Tecta America has announced that Bonnie Ogden, Vice President of Human Resources at Tecta America Corp., will retire after eight impactful years with the company, as of June 2, 2025.

Bonnie joined Tecta in 2017, when the company had just fifty-five locations. Since then, she has played a vital role in supporting Tecta’s growth to 102 locations and over 4,500 employees nationwide. Bonnie’s contributions have spanned recruiting, benefits, acquisitions, training, and the oversight of the John F. Miller scholarship program — a responsibility she calls one of the most rewarding experiences of her career.

“Bonnie Ogden has been a valuable and trusted advisor to our OUPs, our senior leadership team, and to me over her eight years at Tecta America, said Dave Reginelli, CEO of Tecta America. “My experience with her also included six years at SuzoHapp, where I had first met Bonnie.  Her talent lies in her direct, practical approach to problem solving which avoids unnecessary complexity and difficulties.  Always bringing employee advocacy to every situation, no matter the issue at hand, Bonnie has a unique way of communicating in a genuinely caring but unambiguous manner.  Her work ethic is second-to-none, and her to-do lists are famous around our corporate office.  I’m going to miss her immensely…but I am very happy she will be enjoying the fruits of her long, successful career that culminated in her Vice President role here at Tecta America.”

Reflecting on her time at Tecta, Bonnie shared, “My time at Tecta has been rewarding. We truly have so many amazing people that I really enjoyed working with. I am so proud to be ending my career at Tecta. Roofing is an amazing industry, full of knowledgeable, hardworking, and friendly people.”

As she transitions into retirement, Bonnie looks forward to relocating to Tennessee and spending her time folk art painting, reading, gardening, cooking, and learning the art of stained glass.

She will continue supporting training and HR consulting through the end of the 2025 calendar year.
