Tecta America is pleased to announce Stacy Agnew’s promotion to National Vendor Relations Director

Tecta America is pleased to announce Stacy Agnew’s promotion to National Vendor Relations Director.

Stacy began his roofing career in 1984 straight out of high school, working on roofs as a laborer. After a couple of years of college, he found it wasn’t the right fit and returned to roofing, working his way up to owning his own company with partners. In September 2017, C.E. Reeve joined the Tecta America family, and Stacy has been part of it for more than nine years as operating unit president.

In his new role, Stacy will serve as the link between Tecta America’s operating units and the manufacturers and distributors they rely on. His top priority is making sure there are no issues between OUPs and manufacturers, and when a problem comes up, stepping in to find a solution that works for both sides.

Stacy’s years leading an operating unit gave him access to senior leaders at manufacturers and distributors, and he has already built those relationships. Having seen the business as a contractor, and now from the corporate side, he understands both perspectives.

“Stacy’s experience leading C.E. Reeve gives him a real understanding of what our operating units need from their manufacturers and distributors,” said Todd Stugelmayer, Chief Operating Officer of Tecta America. “He is well prepared to strengthen those relationships for the benefit of our OUPs and our partners.”

Outside of work, Stacy enjoys golf, traveling with his wife, and spending time with their four sons and their families.

Please congratulate Stacy on his well-deserved promotion.

Rob McNamara, Manager of Vendor Relations at Tecta America, Announces Retirement

Tecta America announces that Rob McNamara, Manager of Vendor Relations at Tecta America Corporate, will retire in late spring 2027. A third-generation roofing leader, Rob began his career at F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing (FJAC) and has worked in vendor relations at Tecta America Corporate since 2013, where he helped build rebate programs and manage relationships with Tecta’s vendors.

Founded in 1879, FJAC came to the McNamara family through Rob’s father, Don, who joined the company six years into his career as a CPA and tax attorney. Rob followed a similar path, joining six years after starting his own private legal practice.

Rob was part of the formation of Tecta America alongside his father, Don, and his brothers. He served as president of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) from 2009 to 2010 and later helped guide management transitions at other Tecta America locations across the country, before returning to lead FJAC.

Rob is most proud of carrying on the legacy of FJAC, first as a family business and later as a Tecta America founder, along with Tecta America’s formation and growth. Thanks to its people, Christiansen Roofing has built a strong legacy in roofing, completing high-profile projects including an immense ornate copper renovation of Milwaukee City Hall and many other historic landmarks.

“Rob McNamara has been a steady, constant, and positive force throughout Tecta’s existence, from the days even before its founding in 2000 through today,” said Dave Reginelli, Executive Advisor and former CEO of Tecta America. “In my “short” 16 years with Tecta, I’ve always known Rob to offer both great judgment and a willingness to tackle any challenge with the calm and poise not always associated with your everyday contractor. Aside from having faithfully served FJA Christiansen as OUP for many years, Rob has served Tecta Corporate in a number of capacities over the years, including Regional Managing President, Interim OUP of multiple OU’s, and most recently (and longest) as head of Vendor Relations. Rob never backed away from a challenge and was always a positive contributor I could rely on. Congratulations, Rob, on your well-deserved retirement! Hope to see you in the Keys!”

“Rob has been part of Tecta America from the beginning, and his impact is felt across our company and our industry,” said Kevin Palmer, president of Tecta America. “We thank him for his service and wish him and his family all the best in retirement.”

In retirement, Rob looks forward to what he calls “freedom of time,” with more days at the family’s lake home and Key West, some travel, and plenty of fun with their growing family. Their three children live nearby, along with eight grandchildren, all age seven and younger.

Please join us in congratulating Rob on his retirement and thanking him for his many years of leadership and dedication to Tecta America and F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing.

Chris Anderson Roofing, a Tecta America Company, has named David Whitley Interim Operating Unit President

Chris Andersen Roofing, a Tecta America Company, has named David Whitley Interim Operating Unit President, effective October 21. David brings more than 35 years of roofing experience, beginning his career in 1988 on a tear-off crew while still in high school. After graduating in 1990, he served 14 years of active duty, first in the Marine Corps and then later as an Airborne Ranger in the Army. When he left the service in 2005, he returned to roofing as a superintendent and worked his way up through nearly every title in a roofing company, short of president.

David joined Tecta America in 2018 as part of the national business unit, then later moved into project manager and national accounts manager roles. For the past three years, he has served as a national operations director on the National Operations team, supporting operating units in nearly every capacity.

“I am looking forward to dovetailing off of Joe Castellucci’s leadership,” said David. “He’s built a fine team here. The organization is solid, as it ever was. And I could not be more grateful for the opportunity and the condition in which he left the company.”

“David understands this industry from the field to the front office, and he knows how to support a team through change,” said Todd Stugelmayer, Chief Operating Officer of Tecta America. He is the right leader for Chris Andersen Roofing.”

Outside of work, David enjoys golf and fishing. He and his wife, Tina, will celebrate 30 years of marriage next year. They have five children.

Please join us in welcoming David to his new role and in supporting the Chris Andersen Roofing team as they honor Joe’s legacy and continue to grow.
