Empire Roofing, a Tecta America company, completed a 216,151-square-foot re-roof for the Valwood 16 warehouse in Carrollton, Texas. The project began in October 2023 and finished in March 2024.
The team removed the existing BUR roof system and Duraflex board down to the composite deck.
They installed a new roof system with 2-inch polyiso insulation, a new Duraflex board, and a fully adhered 80 mil TPO membrane. They also installed new flashings, accessories, and edge details.
The final system provides a durable and energy-efficient solution for a large industrial facility.
