Empire Roofing, a Tecta America company, completed a 48,800-square-foot re-roof of the Mary Kay Headquarters in Addison, Texas, between October 2022 and May 2023.
The team removed the existing roof down to the concrete deck and installed a Soprema modified bitumen system. They installed two layers of SOPRA-ISO insulation and a DEXCELL FA glass mat roof board using DUOTACK 365 adhesive. They then heat-welded the ELASTOPHENE FLAM base ply and installed the ELASTOPHENE FLAM FR GR cap sheet. For detailed areas, they installed ALSAN flashing with reinforced POLYFLEECE.
The team also installed new 24-gauge vent flashings and iron metal pitch pans.
