Tecta America is pleased to announce the promotion of Glenn Phillips to operating unit president of Tecta America East – Baltimore.

Glenn brings a diverse professional background and more than a decade of experience in the commercial roofing industry. After high school, he began his career in construction, first working on framing crews and later as a drywall finisher. Glenn then transitioned into the architectural field, where he worked as a building designer on projects across the country, primarily in the medical sector. After industry shifts during the 2008 recession, he pursued an opportunity in commercial roofing and joined the industry in Baltimore. Glenn has been with Tecta America since 2017.

Since joining Tecta America East – Baltimore, Glenn has played an integral role in strengthening the operation. As the team matured and relationships developed, estimating processes improved and performance accelerated. In recent years, Glenn’s focus has shifted toward driving growth in the service side of the business, positioning the operation for continued success and long-term opportunity.

Tecta America Announces Promotion of Dave Thompson to Operating Unit President at Alpine Roofing

Tecta America is pleased to announce the promotion of Dave Thompson to Operating Unit President of Alpine Roofing.

Dave began his career with Alpine Roofing in 1997 as a laborer and has steadily progressed through nearly every role within the organization. Over the course of his career, he has gained hands-on experience across field operations and leadership, including roles as a journeyman, foreman, and superintendent, as well as supporting safety initiatives, estimating efforts, preconstruction planning, and jobsite execution. His broad understanding of Alpine’s operations and people positions him well to lead the company forward.

Tecta America Announces Promotion of Tyler Rathbun to Operating Unit President at Tecta America Amarillo CS

Tecta America is pleased to announce the promotion of Tyler Rathbun to operating unit president of Tecta America Amarillo CS, effective immediately, following Tracy Honea’s promotion to the Operations Team at Tecta America Corporate.

Tyler began his career in the construction industry while in high school and continued working through college. After graduating from West Texas A&M University in 2009, he spent several years in the oil and gas industry before returning to construction. In 2019, Tyler joined Tecta America Amarillo CS as a project manager and estimator, where he has since played a key role in project execution and operational performance.

Tyler has focused his efforts on delivering projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and building strong, lasting relationships with both clients and crews. His hands-on approach and understanding of the business have been instrumental to the continued success of the Amarillo operation.

Tecta America Announces Promotion of Tracy Honea to the National Operations Team

Tecta America is pleased to announce that Tracy Honea has been promoted to the Operations team at Tecta America Corporate, following his tenure as operating unit president of Tecta America Amarillo CS.

Tracy brings more than two decades of experience in the construction and roofing industries. After graduating from college, he began his career in construction, gaining experience in building, estimating, and project management. In 2001, Tracy joined Tecta America Amarillo CS, where he learned all aspects of commercial roofing, estimating, and project management while developing a strong appreciation for the value of the people who make the work possible.

Tracy has been with Tecta America since 2001, and 2026 marks his 25th year with the company. During his time as operating unit president of Tecta America Amarillo CS, he provided steady leadership and a strong focus on people, operations, and execution.

“Tracy understands that strong operations start with having the right people in the right seat and applying processes that work,” said Todd Stugelmayer, Chief Operating Officer at Tecta America. “His leadership at Tecta America Amarillo will add tremendous value to our Corporate Operations team.”
