F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing
F.J.A. Christiansen recently completed a high-elevation slate shingle repair project at the historic Milwaukee City Hall. Due to the building’s challenging access points, traditional methods such as boom lifts or crane baskets were not feasible. F.J.A.’s Service Foreman alongside a team of SPRAT III Elevated Safety-trained professionals, utilized Bosun Chair rope access techniques to reach the damaged slate. Using a series of ropes, pulleys, and a 40:1 winch system anchored to the building structure, the team safely raised and lowered the Service Foreman to complete the repairs. The project required ten different setup areas and was successfully completed in just one day.
