Blackmore & Buckner Roofing completed a 2,500-square-foot re-roofing project at the Jasper State Police Post in Jasper, Indiana. This project, completed between March and May 2022 through a job order contract with the Indiana State Police, involved the full removal of the existing built-up roofing (BUR) system down to the concrete deck. The team installed a V-Force Vapor Barrier, followed by one layer of 1.5” ISO insulation and a six-sided wood fiber cover board, all set in hot asphalt. The new roofing system consisted of two plies of premium SBS base and one ply of SBS cap sheet, also installed in hot asphalt. The system was backed by a 30-year warranty, ensuring long-term performance and protection for this critical state facility.
