Geoff Hagan Promoted to VP of Operations at Tecta America

Geoff Hagan Promoted to VP of Operations

Tecta America, the nation’s premier commercial roofing contractor, is proud to announce that Geoff Hagan has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Operations at Tecta America. Tecta America has 74 locations nationwide with their corporate office located in Rosemont, IL.

Geoff has been with Tecta for nearly 15 of his 25 years in the roofing industry. Starting as a Project Manager and Estimator in 2006 in Central Florida, he was promoted to Operations Manager and soon thereafter started their Environmental Solutions (ES) division. In 2010, Geoff moved over to Tecta Corp as ES Director and SE Regional Sales Manager. Geoff was instrumental in working with Kent Schwickert in reviving what is now called the National Business Unit (NBU) in 2013 as an Account Manager. He joined the service team in 2019 as Director of Service.

Geoff graduated from Kent State University in 2004, earning a degree in Justice Studies. Additional training and accreditations from EDGE, LEED, NABCEP, FSEC, NRCA, CIER, & OSHA 30.

Nicole Eisenhardt, SVP of Tecta’s National Service made the following comment “Geoff’s ability to problem solve and help our units identify ways to grow their business profitability has made him incredibly valuable to our service team. His genuine passion for Tecta and our customers is inspiring.”

Tecta America Announces New President of F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing Co.

Tecta America, the nation’s premier commercial roofing contractor, is proud to announce Donald Walter will assume the Operating Unit President of F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing Co., Inc Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as of April 1, 2020. He became a Vice President in 2017 and has been a critical member of the management team involved with all areas of the business.

Don has approximately 14 years of roofing industry experience with F.J.A. Christiansen and earlier construction industry experience with a custom skylight manufacturer. Since joining Christiansen in 2007, Don has grown quickly in responsibility and has been a team leader in sales, estimating, and project management.

Earning his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2000, Don has also completed various Tecta training programs, including BLT and Leadership.

Don will be taking over the position from Rob McNamara, long time president of F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing. Rob will remain with Tecta as he continues to lead its vendor relations and provide additional operational assistance across the company. He will also remain with Christiansen as Chairman until December 31 and help Don’s transition into his new role.
