Tecta America Zero Co., LLC completed a 240,200 sq ft roof replacement for Toyota NAPCK in Herbron, KY.
The crew removed the existing ballast and EPDM membrane, while retaining the existing 2.5-inch polyiso roof insulation.
The crew replaced approximately 6,200 sq ft of moisture-damaged insulation, then installed an additional 2 inches of polyiso insulation and a half-inch HD polyiso cover board.
The new roof features an Elevate 60-mil TPO InvisiWeld induction-welded membrane system and prefabricated aluminum coping. To avoid disrupting facility operations, the team completed material hoisting and work above the office and kitchen areas during off-hours.
