Empire Roofing, a Tecta America company, completed a 112,400-square-foot re-roof at Solana Plaza in Westlake, Texas.
The team installed a modified bitumen roof system over the existing built-up roof. They prepared and primed the surface, then installed a torch-applied cap sheet. They installed new 24-gauge galvanized vent flashings, lead jacks, pitch pans, and rain hoods to support penetrations and drainage. They also applied modified bitumen flashings at all perimeter and rooftop areas, including walls, curbs, stacks, and drains.
The team finished the project by installing new gravel guards, counter flashings, and pre-finished coping to match existing areas. The final system is a durable, reliable solution for the active commercial property.
