Roof Systems of Maine completed a 220-square addition to the Shawn Walsh Alfond Arena at the University of Maine in Orono. This high-profile project involved steep-slope roofing work performed during challenging winter conditions. The addition included areas that the crew informally referred to as the “Pyramids of Maine” due to the complex roof geometry. A training session was conducted onsite, led by Foreman Ike Gastaway, to reinforce proper heat welding techniques and ensure consistent installation quality. The project required careful coordination, attention to detail, and experienced craftsmanship to complete successfully.
