Coats for Kids & Families
Kudos to our Brockton team for participating in the Coats for Kids & Families coat drive and filling two large boxes with gently-used winter coats! Special thanks to Ed Silas for making the drop off at Jordan’s Furniture in Avon so that Anton’s Cleaners can dry clean the clothing and help our neighbors in need during the cold winter months.
Peanut Butter Drive for Wayside Food Programs
Tecta America New England locations collected jars of peanut butter to help local families experiencing food insecurity. In conjunction with The Washington Trust Company‘s annual drive, our Brockton and Billerica locations donated to The Charity Guild, Inc. in Brockton, MA. Service Manager Rich Potts and Bus Dev Rep Anthony Moura were joined by VP & Regional Manager Brian Mahone from the Washington Trust office in Sharon for the drop-off.
Tecta America New England Supports NCMEC
During the last 37 years, National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has received more than 5M calls, circulated billions of photos of missing children, and helped recover more than 355,000 children. Tecta America New England and WeatherGuard trucks have a magnet with information about a missing person from their area to aid NCMEC in their search. Service Superintendent Moses Guadalupe added a magnet to his and other trucks in Brockton’s fleet.
Winter Coats Collects for Families in Need
Brockton team members helped reduce the number of people without a warm coat to wear by collecting outerwear to benefit Coats for Kids and Families. Anton’s Cleaners dry cleaned the gently used coats before they were distributed to those in need. Director of Operations Eric Peterson is holding just some of the many coats that were generously donated by people in our Brockton location.
