Tecta America Announces New President of F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing Co.

Tecta America, the nation’s premier commercial roofing contractor, is proud to announce Donald Walter will assume the Operating Unit President of F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing Co., Inc Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as of April 1, 2020. He became a Vice President in 2017 and has been a critical member of the management team involved with all areas of the business.

Don has approximately 14 years of roofing industry experience with F.J.A. Christiansen and earlier construction industry experience with a custom skylight manufacturer.  Since joining Christiansen in 2007, Don has grown quickly in responsibility and has been a team leader in sales, estimating, and project management.

Earning his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2000, Don has also completed various Tecta training programs, including BLT and Leadership.

Don will be taking over the position from Rob McNamara, long time president of F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing. Rob will remain with Tecta as he continues to lead its vendor relations and provide additional operational assistance across the company.  He will also remain with Christiansen as Chairman until December 31 and help Don’s transition into his new role.

Tecta America Acquires J Reynolds & Co

 

Tecta America, the national leader in commercial roofing, announces the recent acquisition of Saginaw, TX-based J Reynolds & Co.

“Matt Skipper and Jared Wootton and their management team have built a highly successful business driven by re-roofing and restorative weatherproofing.  Based in Saginaw, TX, they travel to other markets throughout the country where their customers take them.   We are so thrilled to have J Reynold join the Tecta team.” said Dave Reginelli, Tecta’s President & CEO.

J Reynolds & Co. has over 100 years of combined experience and has a reputation for exceptional service, safety, and quality in the Dallas and Fort Worth, TX areas.

Matt Skipper will continue his current role as president with the rest of his management team and workforce.  The operation will be known as J Reynolds, a Tecta America Company, LLC.

Tony Clausen Succeeds Dan Brown as President of Anthony Roofing, A Tecta America Company

 

Tecta America, the nation’s premier commercial roofing contractor, is proud to announce that Tony Clausen has been promoted to Operating Unit President at Anthony Roofing in Aurora, Illinois, as of January 1, 2021.

Dan Brown had led Anthony Roofing since October of 2013 when he was tapped to turn around the struggling operation.  After many years of solid performance, Anthony Roofing is well-positioned for the future.  Dan has spent most of 2020 working closely with Tony grooming him to take over a well-run operation successfully.

Tony has been with Anthony Roofing since 2018.  He was hired as a Senior Project Manager and quickly transitioned to Vice President in 2019.  Tony has spent the last two years learning all aspects of the organization; production, service, administration, and finance.

Before joining Anthony Roofing, Tony worked at Great Lakes Systems, a commercial roofing contractor out of Jenison, MI.  Tony worked there for several years as the Director of Operations before starting at Tecta.  Tony went to school at Michigan State University and then received his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Tony was a member of the Michigan State University men’s baseball team for four years.  Love of baseball is a passion he has passed on to his son.  Tony moved to IL with his wife and two kids to accept the opportunity at Anthony Roofing.  He enjoys coaching his son’s baseball team in his spare time and the outdoors, especially riding bikes with his family.
