PROJECT DETAILS

This new high school in the Canyon Independent School District was completed in 2022 and presented many challenges during construction. The scope of work included installing a 4-ply and gravel roof system, metal soffit, and wall panels throughout, as well as a porcelain paver system over a new modified roof at an outdoor patio.

During the beginning stages of construction and prior to the roof installation, the COVID pandemic hit the economy and affected both material costs and availability. In order to avoid both delays and revenue loss, we ordered and received all materials for over 2,000,000 square feet of roof area prior to and during the beginning stages of installing the roof system. This presented challenges in both managing and protecting the material throughout our year-long project, all while working to meet the customer’s needs to stay on schedule and open in August 2022.
