PROJECT DETAILS
The buildings ranged from single story facilities to 75 foot high hangers. One of the buildings was a fire station and housed all staff.
The project consisted of complete roof removal & replacement of standing seam roof systems on seven different buildings and complete removal and replacement of wall panels.
At one facility we removed an existing BUR, another trade installed light gauge framing for slope structure/truss system, and we installed all new batt insulation, standing seam metal roofing, soffit, fascia, gutter, and trim. The entire project consisted of approximately 3,950 sqs total replacement. We utilized Petersen Aluminum Tite-Loc Plus panels on the roof panels and Petersen Aluminum R-Panel for the wall panels.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
Nearly all of the roofs were over open framing which added difficulty to the project, but we maintained our safety protocol. There was a strict adherence to all buildings, with badging and flight line access availability. The facility was required to remain 100% operational 24-7, meaning our crews strategically set up our work areas so the building could maintain its daily activities.
