ABOUT GILLETTE STADIUM
Gillette Stadium, located in Foxborough, Massachusetts, serves as the home stadium and administrative office for both the NFL’s New England Patriots football franchise and MLS’s New England Revolution soccer team. In 2012, it also became the home stadium for the football program of the University of Massachusetts (UMass), making it the largest football stadium in the Mid-American Conference.[8]
PROJECT DETAILS
Tecta America New England completed three high profile projects at Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, MA. The upscale Cross Pavilion located on the north end zone, the innovative DraftKings Fantasy Sports Zone, located in the southwest corner of the main concourse, and the lavish Optum Field Lounge, which stretches across the south end zone at field level.
Tecta installed a Carlisle White TPO fully adhered roof system on the new Pavilion roof, including two layers of 2” polyisocyanurate insulation, and one layer of ½” Dens-Deck recovery board. The same roof system was installed on the DraftKings venue, and it received a ¼” per foot tapered insulation system with one layer of 2.5” polyisocyanurate insulation base layer. The two roof levels on the Optum Field Lounge are also the same Carlisle roofing system as the Pavilion, with the exception of the change in color to Gray TPO membrane, a 3” polyisocyanurate insulation base layer with ¼” per foot tapered insulation system, and one layer of ½” SECUROCK. The Pavilion roof received a custom-fabricated vertical fascia slip-lock panel system around the entire perimeter in the color none other than “Patriot Blue”.
