ABOUT KAPSTONE
KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation was formed in April 2005 by industry veterans to establish operating businesses in the paper, packaging, forest products and related industries. Headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois, KapStone is a leading North American producer of unbleached Kraft paper and corrugated packaging products.
PROJECT DETAILS
- We removed and replaced 3,000 concrete deck panels
- A reroof with a Siplast cold applied 2 ply
- The project required interior scaffolding and 2 layers protection for paper machines, one and two which are in continuous operation, 24 hours a day, seven days a week
- Fire risk was extremely high on the project, so precautions such as fire blankets and air monitoring for flammable vapors were in use to ensure building safety.
