When it comes to commercial roofing, The Melanson Company has the experience and skills to handle any kind of roofing project such as slate, asphalt shingle, wood shakes, metal (including copper), tile, as well as single-ply systems such as EPDM, PVC, TPO, modified bitumen, liquid-applied and built-up systems.

When visiting customers homes, we first attempt to assess how the building’s exterior functions. In making this assessment, we are better able to provide our clients with appropriate options so they, in turn, can make informed decisions regarding their roofing project. We are experienced and knowledgeable in all facets of the roofing industry which gives our clients the flexibility to choose the option that suits them best.
When our roof installation crew arrives at the project, they come equipped with the skills and the attention to detail necessary to provide a high quality, complete roofing project.

We run OSHA compliant job sites and have an ongoing health and safety education program. We continually strive to improve safety awareness among our staff as well as with all parties involved in our projects.
SERVICE
Over the years, many of our customers have come to appreciate our service department and maintenance programs. The goal of this department is simple – to consistently bring real clarity to every roof we visit.
We do not automatically resort to re-roofing recommendations for every problem situation we come across. Wherever possible, we propose other options that can add years to an existing roof system and save the building owners considerable costs.
Much of the work we do for existing roof systems include:
- Leak repair
- Preventive maintenance programs
- Installing mechanical equipment
The broad success of our service division has led us to help establish a national network of premium roofing contractors, called RoofConnect. This resource provides a consistent level of timely, top-quality service and maintenance work for national accounts. Our maintenance and repair division is always on-call – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
From a one-time emergency repair to preventive maintenance programs, The Melanson Company Service department has the flexibility and skills to meet your needs. With proper training and equipment, our service crews also handle a wide variety of specialty roofing installations.
