Tecta America, the national leader in commercial roofing, announces the recent acquisition of The Melanson Company, Vermont Roofing, and AC Hathorne Company. The Keene, NH based business will operate as The Melanson Company, a Tecta America Company, LLC. As we welcome Melanson, Vermont Roofing and AC Hathorne into Tecta’s group of companies, we believe their expertise in roofing will significantly contribute toward expanding our reach in the Northeast region.
Rob Therrien will continue to lead the company going forward as President, and Bobby Lefebvre will be the VP of Operations. All of the existing management team and workforce are expected to remain with the company.
In operation since 1932, The Melanson Company has locations in Keene and Bow, New Hampshire and AC Hathorne (operation since 1875) in Williston, Vermont and Vermont Roofing (operation since 1956) with locations in Rutland and Bennington, Vermont.
