Chris Andersen Roofing is Awarded the Safe Contractor Award for June 2021.
Announced by Kathleen Myska, the Site Safety Manager at Torcon, Inc., in Red Bank, New Jersey.
This was a 190,000 sq foot roofing project for the New Valley Hospital.
The Torcon team is happy to announce that Chris Anderson Roofing (CAR) is the recipient of the “Safe Contractor Award” for the month of June 2021 on The New Valley Hospital Project. The Chris Anderson Team has gone above and beyond in safety management. The Chris Anderson project team pays close attention to the way field operations are managed and how safety is approached by all crews. The Chris Anderson workers continue to comply with safety guidelines and are true professionals at handling the tasks ahead of them.
Some of the things we monitor are thoroughness of Pre-Task plans, Crane Activities, JHA’s, PPE compliance, and safely addressing changing working conditions. Randon Wilston & Bart Gasienic and the Chris Anderson team have shown leadership and have done well with regards to safety, and the crew deserves the recognition. The Chris Anderson crew will be provided a choice of either pizza & wings lunch or individually wrapped sandwiches and snacks next week to show our appreciation. We will coordinate the date/time with Randon and Bart.
Both Bart & Randon take their management responsibilities very seriously. They are an asset to your organization. Bart & Randon always stand with the workers to secure their safety. All JHA’s are preplanned, communicated, and executed. Heavy equipment and tools are inspected prior to use and team communication is evident throughout the task. It is the way management oversight should be conducted but, is not always the case. This is the kind of leadership, along with Kevin Lwowski’s oversight that sets your team apart.
Keep it up and let’s continue working towards the goal of providing a safe working environment for all construction workers at The New Valley Hospital Project.
It is with great appreciation we congratulate the Chris Anderson TNVH Team for a job very well done!
Kathleen H. Myska, Site Safety Manager
