PROJECT DETAILS

Tecta America New England completed the 460,000 square foot Advanced Auto Parts Distribution Center in Enfield, Connecticut, the largest retailer of automotive parts and accessories in the United States.   Tecta was chosen for this project because of our expertise and real strength in completing large, intricate projects on time, while delivering higher quality application in a safe construction environment. Tecta met the strict roof installation deadline in order to comply with the meter turn on and generation date.

Tecta installed a Sika Sarnafil White PVC RhinoBond roofing system with one layer of polyisocyanurate insulation, and one layer of DensDeck recovery board as the top layer.  With emphasis on safety and fall protection, Tecta installed custom fabricated safety railings on the entire rooftop, and 187 safety nets were placed over exposed skylights.  Tecta also installed 5,000 OMG PowerGrip anchors for the new PanelClaw solar racking system.  The new roof received a Sika 15-year warranty.

The project was completed for PM Reality Group of Hudson, Massachusetts, and the roof consultant was Tom Walczak from Roof Management Consultants Inc., of Wrentham, Massachusetts.
