ABOUT THE INDIANAPOLIS CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

The museum houses over 120,000 artifacts and specimens of all shapes and sizes! The objects come from all corners of the Earth and are used to create extraordinary experiences. Their mission is to create exceptional learning experiences across the arts, sciences, and humanities that have the power to transform the lives of children and families.

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION

Blackmore and Buckner fabricated the flatlock copper panels that were soldered and molded to a 6/12 slope, then were interlocked and clipped over two layers for an ice and water shield.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

 

The panels on the dome were installed by skilled Union Sheet Metal personnel.
