As a steel slitting and processing manufacturer, Harris Steel Company has been in business since 1950 and they continue to carry a commitment to our long term relationships with their customers and suppliers.

PROJECT DETAILS

The client was experiencing numerous leaks along the interior gutter of their large metal roof. The heavy crane operations taking place underneath the roof were causing constant penetrations to the  building.

After the client made site visits to our location and to a completed project, they were confident that we had the capabilities to manage their project.

It was a challenge working around a steel plant when trucks are constantly entering and leaving the plant. Since the rolls are 10’x150′, the company let us use their rolling machine to cut them down to a more manageable length. This made material handling much easier and  safer.

Our safety director visited the site during the pre-construction meeting and made unannounced site visits weekly to insure safety was a priority.

We were awarded the third bay as soon as we completed the first  bay.

The customer was thrilled with the completed application and we were pleased with our team efforts.
