Originally known as Cyclone Roofing, LLC, we were founded in 1964 and now have over 70 employees. Based in Charlotte, NC, Tecta America Carolinas LLC serves the NC, SC, WV and TN markets. The Cyclone Roofing organization has over 40 years of construction experience working with building owners, property managers and facility engineers, providing professional roof repairs and re-roofing services.
We currently staff a Full-Time Infrared Certified Thermographist who has completed training and certification to provide quality Infrared Roof Scans. An infrared scan can save clients a significant amount of money by analyzing a building's thermal envelope for problems. An infrared scan can pinpoint failing areas of insulation at a fraction of the cost of replacing an entire roof. It allows us to identify moisture infiltration which can cause substantial energy losses, can lead to damage of both interior and exterior property, and in long term situations, can lead to the growth of hazardous mold spores. If you are thinking of replacing your roof, we recommend to first have a Certified Thermographist provide you with a thorough infrared scan of your roof area. The photos below show how an infrared scan can detect a default that would most likely go unnoticed just relying on the human eye:
