Founded in 1929, Tecta America Zero Company is in its third generation of Wolf Family Management, serving the Greater Cincinnati area including Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana. Our services include installations of all major roofing systems, full-service roof maintenance, and architectural sheet metal work in the commercial, residential and industrial markets.

Management

Jonathan Wolf, President
Jonathan is a 3rd generation roofing contractor and has been employed full-time at The Zero Company since 1992. He began performing estimating, sales, and project management duties in 1988 as a summer intern while attending Washington University in St. Louis. In 1992, Mr. Wolf graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and a minor in Psychology. Jonathan has been cross trained in both Commercial and Residential Roofing and has filled the roles of Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Operations during his tenure with the company. In 1996, Mr. Wolf was named President.

While joining Tecta America in 2002 was clearly the company's watershed event under Mr. Wolf's leadership; he believes that the implementation of a company wide drug testing program in 1995 and the hiring of a full time Safety Director that followed are his biggest and most meaningful contributions to the company and all employees.

Mr. Wolf is a member of the Tecta America President's Council and has served on the Board of Directors for the Ohio Roofing Contractor's Association (ORCA,) the Board of Directors for the Jewish Family Service of Greater Cincinnati, and was a Big Brother Youth Mentor.

Jim Stark, Sr. Vice President - Operations Manager
Jim Stark, joined The Zero Company in January 2004 as operations manager. Before coming to Zero he served as President of a Nashville, TN based roofing company. He brings fifteen years of experience starting as a sheet metal foreman, superintendent and project manager. His current duties for Zero include personnel management, customer service, project coordination, safety compliance and quality control.

Matt Gennett, Senior Project Manager
Matt Gennett started with The Zero Company in Late 2006 as a Commercial Superintendent. He got his start as a carpenter’s apprentice out of high school while attending college. He was promoted through his previous company from Foreman to Project Manager where he traveled around the country for a large contractor out of Michigan running large commercial remodels. He finished a degree in IT from Cincinnati State in 2006 and then he finished a degree in business from Xavier University in July 2008 all while working full time. Matt speaks Spanish fluently.

Matt Meyer, Service and Maintenace Manager

Jim Haitz, Safety Director
Jim Haitz joined the Zero Company in 2004 as the Safety Director. Before joining the Zero Company Jim served as Safety Director and Project Coordinator for a company at the Fernald Plant in Ross, Ohio. Jim is a big believer in Behavior based Safety, and brings over 18 years of Construction experience, starting as a welder before joining the Safety field. Jim Graduated from Maysville Community College in 1986 with an Associates Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety Management.
