Anthony Roofing, A Tecta America Company Adds Sustainable Products to Rooftop Showroom

Anthony Roofing recently added daylighting and photovoltaic solar to their rooftop showroom to demonstrate our local operating division’s commitment to sustainability.  Amongst the various types of roofing assemblies two types of vegetative roofs are also installed to show the types of plants that make up an extensive green roof in the Midwest.

The addition of a new stairwell to the rooftop makes entrance to the rooftop showroom viewable to the public.  Our office is open five days of the week between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Visitors are provided guided tours that include an overview of all the roof systems and environmental solutions we install.  To arrange for a group tour of our rooftop please contact us in advance by calling (630) 898-4444.

Anthony Roofing was founded as Anthony Roofing Ltd in 1978 and became a part of Tecta America in 2005. Based in Aurora, Illinois, we employ over 100 people locally, providing professional roof repair and re-roofing services to commercial, industrial and public buildings throughout Northern Illinois and the entire Country. We were a pioneer of white single-ply roofing membranes in the Chicago area and continue to be a leading installer today. Some of our notable installations include Nestle USA, Greyhound, Motorola, Caterpillar, Anheuser-Busch, and The Art Institute of Chicago.

Rolf G Snobeck, RRC — Acting President
Rolf joined Anthony in 1995 and has worked in the roof and roof consulting industries since 1978. He has held both the position of Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Operations at Anthony Roofing where he was responsible for all day-to-day operations of all field activities. Presently he is the Acting President. Rolf has worked at numerous client locations in 42 states across America and in the Pacific basin. Rolf was certified as a Registered Roof Consultant in 1994. Rolf is the licensed Roofing Professional for Anthony with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. Rolf holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His previous experience with an engineering testing firm which utilized various radioactive isotopes to determine failure causes of various building systems has been invaluable to the analysis of building problems that a roofing contractor is challenged with on a routine basis.

Thom Pritchard — Operations Manager
Thom graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois in 2006. In 2007 he joined Anthony Roofing. Presently he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all field activities for Anthony. He has professional and technical expertise in asphalt and coal tar pitch built-up roof systems, EPDM, TPO, PVC, SBS and APP modified bitumen systems and various waterproofing systems.

Scott Slagle — Service Manager
Scott joined Anthony in 1990 and is a graduate of William Rainey Harper College, with an A.A.S. in Architectural Technology, and is a certified computer-aided design technician. He brought 12 years of architectural experience to enhance Anthony which was already one of the most highly technically advanced roofing contractors in the industry. Scott’s knowledge of CAD allowed him to facilitate production of professional Submittal packages. Scott assumed the position of Service Department Sales Manager in early 2006, and Service Manager in 2011.
