Confidence continues to grow in the private market. The healthcare sector, along with hospitality, is showing signs of improvement. Public sector growth is mainly centered in education.

By the end of the third backlog continued to grow. Orders from both the public and private sector indicate building managers and owner’s confidence in a market gradually improving.

June 30, 2011

By the end of the second quarter work at the San Francisco Mint, UC Berkeley, Westmoor High School, San Jose Police Substation, Burlingame High School were all completed. During this quarter orders from San Francisco State University, South San Francisco Unified School District, Indian Valley Elementary School, UC Berkeley, a national top-tier hotel chain, Richmond Fire District, US Dept. of Veteran Affairs and national property management companies add to overall backlog.

March 31, 2011

Heavy rains during the first quarter resulted in Western Roofing Service providing prompt leak detection and temporary repairs to many property management companies in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Property owners and managers continued to find value centered roofing solutions from Western Roofing Service. During this quarter orders for roofing services by local hospitals, San Francisco Housing Authority, San Francisco International Airport, City of Burlingame, San Mateo County Unified School District were strong. These commitments resulted in cost effective roofing solutions to rooftops though- out the area.

 

 

Western Roofing Service, formed in 1952, is one of Tecta America’s founding members. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area Western Roofing Service has grown to be one of the largest California-based roofing contractors. Completing thousands of commercial and industrial projects, in multiple market segments, throughout the West Coast, Alaska, Hawaii and Guam. Notable projects include, Sonoma State Music Center, Coast Guard Hanger at Treasure Island Naval Base, UC Santa Cruz Biomedical Facility and the Federal Reserve Bank in San Francisco.
