Green News
The Colorado operating unit for Tecta America and their solar team were finalists in both the City and County of Denver and the Jefferson County School District Multi-million dollar solar RFP's. Colorado is currently under contract for a daylighting project to install 200 light pipes at the end of the summer on two schools in Grand Junction. Colorado is installing a green roof on two canopies on the Police Administration Building Garage in the spring.

Tecta America Colorado was founded in 1977 and became part of Tecta America in 2005. Today we number more than 100 employees, serving Colorado and the surrounding states for over 30 years. We have performed several high-profile installations including a LEED project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the green roof on Palmer Ridge High School.
John D. Cook, President
Graduated in 1996 from the University of Colorado with a BS in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship. While in college, John began working part time at Tecta America Colorado LLC (formerly CEI Roofing) and then joined full time in January 1997 as an estimator. In January 2000 John transferred to the Dallas, TX office as the Senior Estimator Project Manager, working in Dallas for two (2) years. John returned to the Denver office in January 2002. In total, John has been with the company for 12 years.
Richard Bass, Director of Sales and Operations
Richard E. Sealey, Service/Estimator
Has been in the roofing industry for the past 26 years. Richard began his roofing career on the roof and worked his way up through the ranks to estimator. He served as Estimating Manager in the industry for more ten years before he joined the Service Department as Service Manager in October of 1998. Richard has also served as president of the CRA (Colorado Roofing Association).
Sondra Lankston, Business Development/Tecta ES
Graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in business and marketing from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Sondra was hired as the Service Coordinator for the Service Department in 1992. In 2005 she was promoted into the business development and marketing roles . Sondra is currently involved with the local Denver Chapter of BOMA, the Denver Chapter of IFMA and the Colorado State Chapter of the USGBC working on may committees in each association. Sondra also assists on the Tecta ES committee, promoting Tecta’s environmental solutions in Colorado.
