General Works LLC is now Tecta America Central Florida LLC

As of March 1, 2010, we have changed our name to Tecta America Central Florida LLC.  As part of the Tecta America family of companies for five years, our name change better reflects that structure.  This rebranding signifies our commitment to providing exceptional value through our innovative solutions, backed by our financial strength and depth of resources.  While our name has changed, our local management team and its commitment to you remains the same.  By adopting Tecta America as our lead brand, we are better able to serve your needs while leveraging our long-standing position as the nation's leading commercial roofing contractor.  We thank you for your commitment to our services in the past, and welcome the opportunity to serve you in the future under our new name.

Tecta America Central Florida was founded in 1990 and became part of Tecta America in 2005. Today, with over 100 employees, we are based in Sanford, FL with a satellite office in Jacksonville to serve the growing Central and North Florida regions. Collectively, we own over 50 years of construction experience, working on such installations as the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant in Hollywood, FL and the Amway Center in Orlando.  We have over 70 years of construction experience.

Lindy Ryan, President
Lindy Ryan is President of General Works LLC and holds a State Certified Roofing Contractors License and has a Marketing Degree from the University of Central Florida. Ms. Ryan overseas operation activities, sales and administrative duties at General Works. She is currently on the President's Council of Tecta America Corporation and serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the National Roofing Contractor’s Association.

Michael Winant, Vice President of Operations
Michael Winant our Vice President of Operations, brings us vast commercial experience from his life-long family roofing business, as well as his 15 years of service with General Works. He provides our customers with a superior degree of roofing knowledge for all of their commercial roofing and repair situations.

Michael Kliber, Vice President of Finance
Michael Kliber is General Work's Vice President of Finance and is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He spent his early career with a National CPA firm in their audit division. Mike handles the management of the administrative functions for General Works including accounts receivable/payable, payroll and human resources.

Norm Kirkpatrick, Commercial Department Manager
Norm Kirkpatrick manages our Commercial Department and Theme Park work. Norm has an AAS Degree in Architectural Engineering along with 21 years experience in construction management, including 14 years in the roofing industry. Norm's previous positions during his career included construction engineering assistant, field supervisor, estimator and project manager. Norm joined the General Works team in June, 2006.

Nicole Eisenhardt, Service Department Manager
Nicole Eisenhardt is General Work's Service Department Manager with expertise in customer service and personnel management. With a Master's Degree from DePaul University, she has spent time coaching and servicing Fortune 500 companies on leadership management and development. Nicole began her career at General Works in June, 2006 as the Human Resource Manager and has advanced into the role of Service Department Manager to continue to offer our customers great service.

Geoff Hagan, Environmental Solutions Manager
Geoff Hagan is General Works' Environmental Solutions Manager. He has 11 years experience in the roofing industry and holds a BA Degree from Kent State University. Geoff also holds a state certified Solar Contractor's License and is LEED AP certified. Geoff specializes in everything "green." He is our "go to guy" for photo voltaic solar systems, vegetative roofs, cool reflective roofs and solar tubes.

Luis Hernandez, Safety Manager
Luis Hernandez is an experienced and accomplished Safety Professional with over 25 years of combined experience in safety and risk management in both General Industry and Construction. Luis has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology which compliments Tecta's behavior based safety philosophy.
