2017 Excellence in Construction Award – Curriculum Associates in Billerica, MA
Sullivan Construction of Bedford, NH, and Tecta America New England were awarded the Excellence in Construction Award by the NH/VT Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors for the Curriculum Associates project. Tecta America performed the roofing work under a tight schedule, first replacing deteriorated insulation and then installing 52,000 sq. ft. of Firestone .060 white TPO InvisiWeld roofing system with a 1/2” ISOGARD HD cover board over the existing membrane system.
To increase the visible daylight in the office area, thirteen Wasco skylights were installed, significantly reducing electricity costs and increasing energy efficiency. New bronze 24 gauge edge metal was also installed, helping highlight the renovations. After seeing the quality of our exterior work, Curriculum Associates requested that we also complete custom interior sheet metal work. Firestone issued a full 20 year, no dollar limit warranty on the project.
