For Immediate Release Skokie, IL - March 9, 2011 - Tecta America, one of the nation's largest commercial roofing companies, has named Davis Lowery as Director of Federal Sales. In his new position, Lowery will be responsible for managing and directing Tecta's federal, state, local, and Tribal government relations. Lowery brings a strong record of demonstrated industrial success to Tecta after previously serving as founder and CEO of The Brave Companies. Under Lowery's guidance, the firms, specializing in external building needs, restoration, and roofing, grew an average of 500% per year over a seven-year span. "Davis brings a wealth of vast experience that will be an immediate asset to our sales team," said Tecta America President and CEO, Mark Santacrose. "We are delighted to have Davis join us and look forward to his continuing contribution in our field." Lowery's experience also includes building partnerships for Native-owned and Tribal-owned companies to bring sustainable economies and economic independence to the Native American community. He has been a multi-year keynote speaker at the Native Economic Summit and has taught seminars on blending corporate and tribal abilities for true economic benefit to the Tribal communities. Lowery has served on the Board of Directors for Tribal-owned enterprises, and was asked by the U.S. Navy to represent business, tribal, and Native American interests alongside the U.S. Government in International construction & restoration efforts for business development, and the subsequent creation of partnerships, job programs, and economic planning. Davis has also worked as an external building consultant for the Army Corp. of Engineers, the Walt Disney World Company, and the Green Building Council, amongst others.
