Management Team

The Tecta America management team is made up of some of the most talented and experienced names in the roofing industry. We lend strategic and financial expertise to your roofing project by providing senior level management strength at the local level with the added benefit of a team of experts from our national divisions.


As President and CEO of Tecta America Corp., Santacrose oversees the strategic direction of Tecta America Corp. and its member companies with 50 locations and more than 3,500 employees.

Prior to joining Tecta America Corp. in 2001, Santacrose was the CEO and President of Entrade, an e-commerce business incubator that identified and created new e-commerce joint venture businesses, using Entrade proprietary software. He also spent nine years at Bagcraft Corporation, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, serving as president and practiced law for seven years with a concentration on mergers, acquisitions and finance.

Santacrose holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisc.; a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business, Chicago; and a law degree from Loyola University, Chicago.


As Senior VP and Chief Operating Officer, Gaulin is one of the original founders of Tecta America, and a member of the Tecta Board of Directors. Gaulin focuses his leadership on green roofing, solar initiatives and sustainable construction practices, as well as driving best practices nationally throughout Tecta America.

Previously, Gaulin was President of Magco, Inc., a Tecta America company located in Jessup, MD, where, in addition to spearheading the green roof movement, he managed the company's performance and field operations. Gaulin's professional associations include former President and Vice President of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), chairperson of the Architectural Metal Committee for the NRCA, and former President of the Associated Roofing Contractor's of Maryland (ARCOM).


David Schupmann is Senior Vice President of National Sales. Schupmann's focus is on national account development with an emphasis on roof asset management programs.

Schupmann's career in the roofing industry spans 13 years, all of which have been at Tecta America, as a Sales Assistant, Salesman/Estimator, New Account evelopment Manager, Service Manager, and most recently as National Sales Manager.

Schupmann has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Aurora University in Aurora, IL. He is a member of the Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA) and the Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association (PRSM).


In her role as Vice President of Marketing, Winfrey is responsible for developing and implementing all marketing tools and activities for Tecta America Corp.

Winfrey has more than 15 years experience in marketing and strategic planning gained at Fortune 500 companies including HJ Heinz UK and Quaker Oats. Prior to joining Tecta America, Winfrey was the VP of Marketing for Entrade, an e-commerce business incubator that identified and created new e-commerce joint venture businesses, using Entrade proprietary software.

Winfrey received her MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Chicago and holds an undergraduate degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois.


Watts leads Tecta America’s internal training initiatives, manages compensation and benefits, and oversees performance management and recruiting efforts.

Watts spent 12 years of her career at Heidrick & Struggles, a premier provider of senior-level executive search and leadership consulting services located in Chicago. She was an integral part in designing the equity programs for Heidrick’s Initial Public Offering, and utilized her knowledge and expertise regarding equity plans, regulatory issues, and employment legalities.

Prior to her leadership at Heidrick & Struggles, Watts was Manager of Compensation and Benefits at Tripp-Lite Manufacturing in Chicago, managing payroll, compensation, and benefits, recruiting, employee relations, and OSHA/work safety and training.

A graduate from Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana, Watts obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Business and is SPHR certified.

 

Technical Management


Angie Durhman is the Green Roof Manager for TectaAmerica. With over 90 green roofs installed, Durhman has managed a wide-variety of green roofs throughout the country including tough climates, elaborate designs, and logistical challenges. Ms. Durhman acts as the liaison with the roof project managers to make sure all warranties, water proofing, and maintenance is managed and executed properly with the vegetation. She also works creatively within the scope of the project to select the proper sustainable materials.

Durhman frequently presents expertise utilizing a wide variety of speaking engagements and audiences: International Roofing Expo; local USGBC- Minnesota chapter; and AIA continuing education.

She holds a Masters in Horticulture from Michigan State University, where she studied green roof plant performance and environmental sustainability. Angie is an active member nationally and locally for the USGBC, GRHC, NRCA, CEIR, and ANLA.


Tony Huggins provides strategic oversight and manages the daily operations of the environmental services division with a heavy focus on daylight harvesting. Huggins was an Account Executive/Project Manager for a lighting contractor and energy services company for the past 10 years. In those former positions he did project development and design, project management and coordination to ensure customer satisfaction.

Huggins also worked for Alliant Energy as a technical sales consultant/engineer, focusing on providing technical energy solutions and project management services. Additionally, he was responsible for designing and scoping non-utility energy projects for larger commercial and industrial customers. Huggins is a Certified Lighting Management Consultant (CLMC) and a Certified Energy Manager (AEE).

As Chief Contracting Officer and Corporate Sales Manager, Mr. Junia applies his many years of experience in senior operations, sales and marketing management to manage the Government Sales and National Account Contracting Processes for the corporation and its operating locations. MR Junia has a BS in Engineering, combined with extensive expertise in National Account Management, Government Contracting, Sales and Sales Management processes, and CRM processes, techniques and systems.

A third generation roofer, Murton entered the roofer's union local 44 in Cleveland, Ohio upon graduating from John Marshall High School in 1972. He started Murton Roofing Corp in May,1975 in Miami, Florida, where he served on the board of directors for many state and local associations, including holding a seat on the Miami-Dade product approval board which was formed after hurricane Andrew to improve installed roofing systems and building codes.

One of the original founders of Tecta America, Jim served as president of Murton Roofing Corp until 2005, at which time Murton became Tecta America's Director of Disaster response.


Eileen Kent has been selling, marketing, managing and training since 1986. Kent's career took off in 1996 at Brook Furniture Rental in Chicago, IL. During her career with Brook, Kent has held the positions of Sales Executive, Showroom Manager, Regional Manager, Director of Sales for the Midwest Region and, since early 2002, the National Sales Manager for GSA. Kent built government business nationally and developed relationships in a matter of months with Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, US Navy, US Marines, US Army Corps of Engineers, US Customs/Border Patrol, Pentagon, White House, US Senate, Department of Education, EPA, Missile Defense Agency, FBI, Secret Service, CIA, Defense Logistics Agency, Veterans Administration, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Bechtel, Jacobs Engineering, and more.

Kent has been a premier Fedmarket.com national seminar speaker since 2003. She has been traveling the USA sharing her enthusiasm, experience and expertise to rave reviews and she is the author of "On the Sales Firing Line," a weekly column sent to government contractors worldwide every week through Fedmarket.com. Several of Eileen’s "Firing Line" articles have been featured in Minority and Women in Business Magazine and in the April 2006 issue of Government Executive Magazine.

In addition to the Federal Sales Academy, Eileen keeps her sales toes in the water by selling Environmental Roof Solutions to the federal government including solar and green roofs as Tecta America Corp’s National Manager of Federal Contracts.
